USNC LA FOR UN WOMEN

CHALLENGE

Conceptualize and create a high-profile summit to address gender equality issues in the media and benefit the #HeForShe Global Campaign created by UN Women with ambassador Emma Watson. Secure celebrity panelists, moderator and VIP guests,  handle pre and post event media relations.  

RESPONSE

We curated a diverse panel with CNN moderator Carol Costello, top CAA agent, the founder of the Black List, Academy Award Winner Patricia Arquette and award winning writer and director Joss Whedon. 

RESULT

In partnership with YouTube Space LA, we created the first HeForShe LA Media Summit, which was the most successful event for the chapter. The evening was at capacity, with over 300 VIP guests, celebrities and influencers in attendance. Coverage included CNN, Huffington Post, and Variety and the event was trending on Twitter. 


Wetransfer

CHALLENGE

WeTransfer is the largest file transferring service in the world.  We were brought on to handle their US strategic branding and PR, while introducing the WeTransfer President to the US market as he spearheaded the company’s expansion in the region.

RESPONSE

We raised the profile of both the company and president through building an innovative web presence, social media and speaking campaigns alongside strategic partnerships.

RESULT

We landed features in prominent outlets such as Fast Company, Forbes, Inc. Magazine, and more and brokered strategic partnerships with non-profits such as the United Nations. The president spoke at numerous events, from TechWeek to the Collision Conference, and authored articles we secured for him in major publications such as Fortune.

ELLE

CHALLENGE

Increase celebrity presence and secure sponsorship at Elle events. 

RESPONSE

Leverage deep network of A list talent for Elle’s most prestigious events of the year.   

Result

The Elle Woman In Music Awards had the largest celebrity attendance in years.  With over 100 celebrities present including Demi Moore and Ryan Reynolds and sponsors including Wella and BeautyCon-  resulting in global media hits and reoccurring contracts with Elle.


Global Green USA

Challenge

Garner publicity around the brand’s 20th anniversary campaign, engaging current supporters while generating new interest from millennials.

Response

A strategic partnership with Vanity Fair, introducing Global Green as one of the publication’s top charities of 2015.

Result

Meaningful relationships with major editors and influencers, including Tori Burch, resulting in a series of VIP events tailored to prominent millennials.

CHALLENGE

This study is based on a client we work with; however, due to the nature of our personal branding work, we cannot disclose the name of this client. This particular CEO of a U.S.-based Fortune 500 company had no existing web presence other than a Twitter account. He wanted to be featured in top business publications as a leading marketing expert, to secure a book deal, and to land high profile speaking opportunities. 

RESPONSE

We created a personal branding strategy for the client and defined his mission and goals. We designed his personal website; built three new social media channels and edited his one existing channel; and developed a speaking kit, media kit, and book deal strategy. 

RESULT

We increased our client’s social media presence by 200 percent and had him verified as a public figure across all networks. We secured him a Wikipedia page; features that highlighted him as an expert in more than thirty media outlets, including Inc, Fast Company, Fortune, and CNN; and nominated him to a Forbes Council where he now contributes articles monthly. We also provided speaker training and landed him a top speaking agent for paid opportunities at major conferences. The client also worked with our Head of Literary to write a book proposal that is now being sold to a major publisher.


Snopes.coM

CHALLENGE

Snopes.com is the longest running and most respected fact checking site in the world with more than 20 million unique visitors per month. The company approached us for assistance with their branding, marketing and PR along with crisis communications consulting.

RESPONSE

We created marketing and branding strategies that focused on increasing Snopes’ monthly revenue while simultaneously increasing the presence of the brand founder and his story. We also worked with the company to build a prominent GoFundMe campaign that raised brand awareness and generated over $800,000 in funding and continues to grow.  

RESULT

We secured global media coverage in outlets such as The Washington Post, New York Times, Forbes, and Fortune, and partnership opportunities such as US Department of State, US Mission of Switzerland, SXSW, Tech Open Air Conference, Forbes Impact Summit, and more. Today the founder and CEO is a widely renowned expert in his field and in high demand for speaking opportunities.

Elevate the social media presence and branding of CauseCentric Productions, founded by Céline Cousteau.

A re-design of the brands social aesthetic across multiple platforms as well as a tailored social media posting calendar to simplify posting and increase engagement with followers.
