UN Women

CHALLENGE

Conceptualize and create a high-profile summit to address gender equality issues in the media and benefit the #HeForShe Global Campaign created by UN Women with ambassador Emma Watson. Secure strategic partnerships, celebrity panelists, VIP guests, and handle pre and post-event media relations.

RESPONSE

We curated a diverse panel with CNN moderator Carol Costello, a top CAA agent, the founder of the Black List, Academy Award Winner Patricia Arquette and award-winning writer and director Joss Whedon among others.

RESULT

We forged a strategic partnership with YouTube Space LA, we created the first HeForShe LA Media Summit, which was the most successful event to date for YouTube and UN Women nationally. The evening was at capacity, with over 300 VIP guests, celebrities and influencers in attendance. Coverage included CNN, Huffington Post, and Variety.

Google

CHALLENGE

When Google started Google+, they reached out to us to design the look of their largest community.

RESPONSE

We created a digital main street to represent the community’s collective knowledge. Each building symbolizes a different discussion topic.

RESULT

This culminated in a popular, vibrant look that not only complimented and fit within Google’s existing aesthetic but could grow and evolve with the community over time.

TED

CHALLENGE

TED needed high-end strategic partnerships for the TED brand at their annual invite-only events such as the annual TED conference, TED Women, TED Global, and the TED Summit.

RESPONSE

We ensured that leading consumer brands, such as American Express, BMW and the world’s top financial institutions, had a prominent presence at private dinners, conferences and more. We coordinated outreach, negotiated sponsorship deals, and advised on target market demographics and more.

RESULT

We have helped TED maintain millions in annual funding which is critical to their success as a non-profit. Their events continue to be some of the most coveted to attend by CEO’s and influencers such as Elon Musk, Eric Schmidt and numerous celebrities.

WeTransfer

CHALLENGE

WeTransfer is the largest file transferring service in the world. They needed a solid team to introduce the WeTransfer President to the US market as he spearheaded the company’s expansion in the region.

RESPONSE

Create a press and brand strategy around the US launch raising the profile of both the company and president by building an innovative web presence, social media, and speaking campaigns.

RESULT

We got people talking and landed features in prominent outlets such as Fast Co,, Forbes, Inc. Magazine, and more.  We brokered strategic partnerships with non-profits such as the United Nations. The president spoke at numerous events, from TechWeek to the Collision Conference, and authored articles we secured for him in major publications such as Fortune.

Entrepreneur Case Study

 

CHALLENGE

A skincare expert had no web presence and wanted to let the world know about their innovative skincare method that she developed.

RESPONSE

After several deep-dive branding exercises, we launched a 5-year brand strategy for the individual. We advised them to launch their very own signature product line that we helped develop and brand based on extensive market research.  We created her website, social media content, developed a media pitch and more.

RESULT

The client won numerous awards, has over half a million social followers, features in Elle, Glamour, Refinery 29, Goop and major deals with retailers like Sephora, Anthropologie, and other major retailers. She credits her success to our brand strategy, social media advising, design, and overall guidance to launch her brand.

Venture Capitalist Personal Branding Case Study

 

CHALLENGE

The client is a venture capitalist who came to us with no web presence, website, social networks or speaking background. He wanted to become well known as a leader in his field and land a book deal.

RESPONSE

We built the client a personal website, created speaking topics and a media kit, in addition to social media accounts and ongoing campaigns. We crafted his book concept and identified the top literary agents in our network to pitch him to.

RESULT

Because of our work, the client has raised over half a billion dollars has spoken at the United Nations, a private summit at the Vatican, Davos, and is working on a TED talk. They are also with a top literary agent we secured for their book deal. We helped the client be featured in The Washington Post, Forbes, Fortune and many additional publications. In addition, their Twitter following (the platform they wanted to grow most on) is at more than 100k followers due to our campaign strategy.

Entertainment Industry Executive Case Study

 

CHALLENGE

To create an impactful, lasting legacy for an entertainment executive in Hollywood.

RESPONSE

Main & Rose created a brand strategy for the client including a website and a rebuild of all of their social media channels. We also overhauled their company websites with a fresh new look and suggested they establish a foundation. We advised on building the foundation while simultaneously curating all brand assets, a foundation name, website, and social media platforms.

RESULT
