Natasha leads our expansion in the Middle East and is based in Dubai. A visionary strategist and storyteller, her expertise includes growth strategy, marketing and strategic partnerships with a keen lens on building globally-resonant brands in emerging markets. Natasha began her career in Washington D.C., working for the BBC and the Kennedy family before joining the Harvard Medical School Dubai Center, where she worked on establishing Dubai as the center for academic medical research and practice in the Middle East. She subsequently held roles in corporate affairs and investor relations at Dubai Holding, one of the region’s largest sovereign-owned holding companies. An independent journalist, Natasha writes for numerous publications exploring the intersections of business, entrepreneurship, technology, culture and gender. A sought-after speaker, she has shared the stage and moderated conversations with some of the world's most influential figures including Jacqueline Novogratz, John Sculley and Steve Wozniak. She is passionate about gender inclusion and diversity and cultivating powerful personal brands that can bring more Asian voices to the mainstream global narrative.
Courtney has extensive experience working on branded campaigns and digital media for high profile individuals from a variety of industries including tech, finance, media, and wellness. Courtney's experience in AdTech has included work with large brands such as Unilever and Uber as well as a vast list of Fortune 500 companies. She has also worked extensively with nonprofits such as the United Way, YMCA, Big Brother Big Sister, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America while leading local strategic CSR partnerships with the Celtics, Red Sox, Nascar and more. Courtney's most recent event work led her to the world-renowned Necker Island, where she coordinated an (un)conference for the biggest influencers in digital alongside Richard Branson. She focused her studies on leadership while completing her MBA and advises clients on strategy, branding and more. When Courtney isn’t working, you can find her at a CrossFit gym, running Spartan races, or seeking out new adventures.
A strategic communication and branding expert focused on crisis communication, public affairs, and government relations. Under President Obama, David was appointed Social Media Coordinator for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Special Assistant to the Secretary in the Office of White House Liaison, both at the U.S. Department of State, where he helped to rebrand the State Department’s web and social presence. Before the State Department, he worked on Clinton’s Senate staff, at The Brookings Institution and at MSNBC’s Morning Joe. David’s background in public relations and communications includes working for Ruder Finn, DKC, and SS+K and for clients such as PBS, FreshDirect, Catholic Charities of NY, Esquire, AARP Bulletin, and more. David speaks frequently on how the media and technology are shaping the future and the relationship between public figures and the media. He has spoken at The Pacific Council on International Policy, the University of Pennsylvania and previously hosted The Gaggle Podcast. Hugh Naylor is a branding and public relations specialist who spent a decade covering the Middle East for The Washington Post and The New York Times. He has reported from more than 15 countries in the region, a journey that took him through Egypt’s revolution and counterrevolution, civil war in Syria and assaults in Iraq launched by Islamic State militants. His expertise also includes innovation, marketing and real estate in Dubai, as well as the far-reaching impact of low oil prices on Saudi Arabia. He has an M.A. in International Relations and Economics from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and he speaks and reads Arabic with proficiency. He is based between Los Angeles, California, and Dubai.
Ari specializes in developing creative, political, and social impact campaigns to reach a new generation of activists, consumers, and voters. Ari previously served in the Obama Administration as Speechwriter and Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment. Ari earlier served the Obama Administration as a Congressional Liaison for the State Department and as an Associate at the White House. He is a veteran of the Obama for America and Hillary Clinton 2008 presidential campaigns, and was also appointed to the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Committee. Ari collaborated with Alec Ross on The New York Times bestselling book The Industries of the Future and served as Special Political Correspondent for Vice News during the 2014 midterm elections and as a correspondent for Yomiuri Shimbun, Japan’s largest newspaper, from 2003 to 2006. He’s appeared in The New York Times, CNN, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic, Foreign Policy, Reuters, and more. Ari is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
